Form cycling to Riverdance

After reading in The Village about Barnt Green ladies Jill Ellison and Sue Heard, who were raising money for Acorns Hospice and Multiple Sclerosis with a cycle trip from Vietnam to Cambodia, Hopwood Ladies’ Cycling Club offered to help by organising a fundraising show.
This “one night only” event at The Ark in Alvechurch involved not only the Hopwood Ladies but also their families, friends and anyone else they could rope in – it featured the ladies’ unique version of Riverdance as well as a fundraising auction and raffle, raising a total of £1,400.
