Allotment hopes grow for Alvechurch

Would-be vegetable growers may soon by able to sign up for allotments in Alvechurch.
The parish council is in talks with the owner of land in Old Rectory Lane and has been taking advice from other parish councils that provide allotments.
Coun Andy Humphries told colleagues there was room for around 40 “mini-plots” and that they were aiming to get finance in place for the project by March.
